The misery continues

Busy busy busy. And annoying as all get out, of course.

The agent who got confused about what I was sending him (and who sent the full manuscript along to someone else in his confusion) finally answered my query whether he'd had a chance to look at the work. He commented the writing itself is "quite good" -- gee, dontcha love it? -- but he has issues with the genre. Like every other agent, he couldn't figure out where to place it.

So he's nothing new.

Like most of the other agents, he asked whether there was anything else I could send him. He also asked if there was some way to convert the work into another genre, like straight suspense, dropping the elements of the fantastic?

I am so ticked off. But that should be no surprise. Have to think of a good reply.
